One cannot avoid occasional regrading of already packaged goods. This is why the line needs to be designed in such a way that it can handle so called “hard” packs as well.
The main reasons for repackaging are:
- Small or rest packages are added to new production to make full lots
- Regrading because of mechanical damage, moisture and actual grade
- Broken packages
- Altering the length of the goods
- Length sorting of truck bundles or rest packages
